"Cowboy Art" Sketch Book" Mid Century 1940's St. Louis Artist Don Little." This is just a "little" gem by Don Little. I have not been able to find anything about him online. Although, I have never tried to contact any local St. Louis archives or records. But I too am an artist. One of my works an oil painting on panel, 7"x7" (100 hrs.) is also attached. Why?  For you to better understand and evaluate my opinion about the works offered here. His sketches appear to be immediate, with strong bold strokes and little correction. Albeit, some erasures appear. In an inconsequential sketchbook of of one's own, playing with perfection is up to the artist. However, the strength of his work with almost no corrections is brilliant; including the one and only watercolor. There are several more sketches not included in the photos, they are more of, I would conjecture, his child. Altogether there are 15 sketches with two being double side.These are of more baby sketches. S+H .50 media mail. Packed like it was mine!
