Vietnam Era M1C Paratrooper Helmet Complete Liner USGI Army Mitchell Cover Camo

In this auction you are bidding on a Vietnam war era M1C paratrooper combat helmet. Helmet is rear seam post WW2 swivel bale with paratrooper straps. Liner is a post WW2 Firestone manufacturer. Previous owner stamped the inside and the dome of the liner. I couldn’t see dates as the leather sweatband is in the way. Mitchell helmet cover has a contract of 9005, long flap. Helmet band cover does not have cat eyes so it is Vietnam era.
This helmet does NOT come with the paratrooper chinstrap canvas cup.
The paratrooper strap buttons on both sides are smashed and not operable. There is a dent in the rear of the shell. You can’t tell with a cover on it. I bought this helmet as you see it, but I believe in the end this to be a put together as the shell does not bare the liners owners stamp (I would assume it would of) This helmet displays super well and would make a great addition to any collection.
