Original U.S. Navy Vietnam War USS Forrestal Commanding Officer's Wool "CVA-59" Ball Cap
Hat is made from heavy blue wool fabric with a white leather sweatband marked "100% Wool Pittsburgh Hat and Cap Co. Harvard". Size 7 3/8
label is intact. Scrambled eggs and letters are separately applied, no stains or moth damage. Would have been worn by the C.O. of the Forrestal and other Flag Officers onboard. Hat dates from the late 1960's to the early 1970's.
