    Description

    A set of 4 champagne goblets.
    Marked on bottom with "
    Duca d'Alba Champagne" and
    "Wallace Bros Silver Co. V8"
    Approximately 5" tall and
    3.50" across the top.
    Good condition; some tarnish and some slightly bent edges. From a smoke-free/pet-free home.
    The Duca d’Alba Hotel is located in Rome, Italy and had its 100th anniversary in 1915. Goblets for the anniversary were made and plated by Wallace Brothers Silver Company. I am not certain if these were from that celebration, or if they were just the regular stock drink ware.
