    Description

    Protection Inc (PI) SPH-1 helicopter flight helmet probably late 1950s early 1960s. Helmet is complete and a size large. Clearly marked with the PI sticker and size. This helmet has a microphone mounted in the chin cup and the earcups are somewhat unique. This could be a variant of the SPH-1 or perhaps a prototype. All in all, a very nice example of a fairly rare helmet.
