Hard to come by 1987 West German Gebirgsjäger  (mountain troops) cap made by TSR (Tomas Sturm Rothenberg) size 58. Matrials are supposedly made from experimental pattern A that TSR bought from Bundeswehr after trails and made caps, helmet covers and uniforms for commercial sale. While not a Bundeswehr issued peice, soldiers could still buy caps and helmet covers and wear them if unit officers allowed. Cap features a beautiful two piece edelweiss that is sewn on to the side and the National cockade and BW swords on the front. This is a great piece for a Moleskin mountain troops uniform to add a bit of color!
