We have for sale in this listing ONE vintage Leviton ribbed dual  receptacle wall plate in ivory bakelite.   These vintage wall plates are new and are shipped to you sealed in the manufacturer's original packaging.  The lines on these wall plates are deep and Bakelite's hardness and resistance to scratches keep them looking new.  They also are very resistant to stains.   This finish nearly eliminates smudges on the switch cover from wet/damp or soiled hands that can be troublesome with smooth, glossy covers.  The wall plate is considered art deco design and are pleasing to the eye.
The ribbed wall plate design was all the rage back during the middle decades of the 20th century and it remains widely popular today.
These Leviton wall plates are very well made with a heavy overall construction and are reinforced in the stress areas.  There is a noticeable difference in the weight of these and the weight of a modern wall plate.  These wall plates were designed and manufactured to last forever.  They were not built to break after five years so that the company could sell you replacements (like consumer goods are built today).
