HiBlow Linear Septic Air Pumps all have

ration, low pulsation, long life, and are easy to service.
The HiBlow HP-80 and HiBlow HP-100 Models are the two most commonly used septic air pumps for 500 gallon per day systems (which is the size that the vast majority of homes have).
Some air pumps will need to have their diaphragms replaced every 18 months, but the quality air pumps should last 3 to 5 years before diaphragm replacement would be necessary. For this reason, we recommend the Hiblow linear air pumps. The Hiblow diaphragms are very durable and can withstand the higher backpressures they will be subject to in your septic system. Further, the Hiblow air pumps have an internal safety screw designed to break when the diaphragms start to fail, saving and prolonging the life of all the other internal components of your pump. When the screw breaks, the pump shuts down until you replace your diaphragms which I might add is very simple to do in a Hiblow air pump. Very few linear air pumps have this important feature. Without this safety device, your pump would continue to run with failing diaphragms that could throw your shuttle out of alignment and permanently damage your pump.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Not all air pumps are the same and not all air pumps will fit your aerobic system. Aerobic systems are designed and approved with not only a specific size air pump but a specific brand as well. It is imperative that you get the right size and right kind of pump as a replacement for your system. To big of an air pump and the diffusers distributing the air inside the tank will not handle the excessive air flow causing pre-mature pump failures. To small an air pump and the wastewater cannot be processed adequately causing pre-mature failure of your septic system. The wrong model or brand of air pump that was never tested on your system and both of the above mentioned problems could happen.  Please call our office or email us with any questions you may have.
