I’m offering here what may be considered to be one of the h-o-l-y grails of Gerstner machinist chests.  A rarely found vintage example in mahogany wood and completely original. Do not miss out on this exceptional chest.
From my personal collection, this model 052 in mahogany is completely original and in fine vintage condition. This chest was acquired by me directly from the original owners’ estate. There is overall ordinary minor wear to the surface, small blemishes here and there, as well as typical distress to some of the green felts. The chest retains its original finish and is a well-preserved example. It is not new. If you want new you can still buy from the maker, they are still around.
This machinist chest (in my opinion) shows just the right amount of honest wear and patina that makes it ideal. Everything is in perfect working order and includes the original key. A true collector/user specimen that could not be duplicated.
