This auction is for a
Disney Cruise Line Castaway Cay Bahamas First Day Cover Envelope 1 Aug 1998 VHTF
The stamps on this envelope show the Disney Magic in the Daytime on top with the cruise ship at night on the bottom.
I was on the inaugural voyage of the Disney Magic, the first ship of the Disney Cruise Line.
We stopped at Castaway Cay as part of the cruise and was able to purchase the First Day Cover.
The date of the first day cover was August 1, 1998 (stamp shows 1-8-98 which is set under international date system where day is first, month is second, and year is third).
Just think that the Disney Cruise Line started with this inaugural voyage and is now at four ships with three more coming by 2023!
Very hard to find. Envelope shows both stamps that were available showing the Disney Magic during the date and at night.
Stored with other Disney merchandise and collectibles.
