Up for your consideration:
This lovely Victorian mourning pin has geometric French jet (black glass) shaped stones set in rose tone gold plate.  Pieces such as this were not used exclusively for mourning in the late 1800's; however,  they could hold a black ribbon to signify the wearer's intention.  It has a "T" and tube pin back.
MAKER
~  This brooch is unsigned by the maker.  The gold is untested to avoid damaging the piece.
SIZE~
This pin measures 2-1/4" in length and is 1-5/8" in width at the widest point
CONDITION~
This pin is in Good/Excellent Antique Condition.  There is a small crack in one of the comma-shaped stones at the end of the brooch, and indication of "flea bites" to several other square stones.  Pls. review the photos.  There are no missing elements.  There are no alterations or repairs.
