Antique Silverplate ETROG BOX Europe Sukkot Judaica Casket.
Beautiful Antique Rustic Hand-Hammered Etrog Box Casket
Silverplated copper box, with brass handle and feet
The lid has repoussé palm branches (with 7 dates on each branch) and heart-shaped Etrogs on the left and right sides.
The base contains an all-over pierced motif.
Hand sand-caste brass feet and handle, attached with square nuts and bolts on the inside.
It has a special closing mechanism, which is in the shape of an etrog - no key.
It rattles when moved because the metal has loosened, but stands steady with only minor wobbling.
There is no maker mark.

Rustic. Considerable wear to the silver-plate with copper showing through.
Wobbles a little because the feet bottoms are not completely even, however the box is stable and not in danger of falling over.
