Antique Early 1900's Machinists Tool Chest.

Description

You are bidding on this Machinists Tool Chest which I believe dates to about 1900. I think it is made of Walnut. Weighs about 10 pound. It is 17" long, 8" wide and 8" tall.
The front of the box comes forward and then slides under the lowest drawer. It has a brass handle. I do not have a key for the lock and the front will drop down. It looks like someone  drilled a hole through the top into the front  for a pin to be inserted to keep it closed  many years ago.
The second drawer down has a couple extra nails in the one corner as if it may have been reinforced at one time  (see picture). All drawers  do open.  Needs a good cleaning, but I will leave that to the buyer.  It has a few splits in the wood ( Please see photos). Nice early Tool Chest.
