Offering for sale is this Antique Civil War Mourning Black Onyx Spinner Brooch Pin Lions Mane Bearded Man. It
measures approximately 1.25 by 1 and 5/8ths inches. It features a swivel center with a photo under beveled glass on one side and black onyx gemstone on the reverse; the exterior frame may be made of a low grade gold. Features fancy chasing work on front of frame. The tin type photo is of a young man with the hair style made famous by President Abe Lincoln; the lions mane.
